So for activity days, Sarah's advisor organized a tea party. She had a lady in the ward come over and teach the girls about the etiquette of going to a tea party. Mothers were invited, so we were able to learn along with them. It was so much fun. The girls wore their white gloves. We ate cucumber sandwiches and crumpets. We learned the proper way to drink our tea, not with your pinky up. And of course we learned the proper way to dab our mouths after each sip of tea. The joy of womanhood. It was fun to experience this with my little Sarah.

What a fun idea! It's so nice to enjoy our femininity. It is definitly something that is lost all too often in this world.
What a cute idea. It was great to see you today! Your girls are so dang cute - but what else would you expect with you as their mom?
how fun. your little sarah is a doll. i still need to call you--it's just been so hectic with school lately. i'll be in touch!
I have that same tea cup and saucer--only one--from Pete's Grandma Fisher when she passed away. Cute idea--maybe I'll steal it for when Madeline's in activity days!
